Description

Crisp chicken wings glazed with a sweet-honey-hot-sauce blend, baked to golden perfection. Suave honey balances fiery spice, creating addictive sweet-spicy heat with tender meat and crackling skin—ideal for spicy food lovers.

Ingredients

Scale

2 lbs (900g) chicken wings, separated into drumettes/drums
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup hot sauce (adjust to taste)
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
Pat wings dry with paper towels
Combine paprika, garlic powder, salt, and cayenne pepper
Coat wings with spice mix, massage oil into skin
Bake on wire rack for 40 minutes
Melt butter in saucepan, add honey, hot sauce, and cayenne
Glaze wings with sauce and bake 10 more minutes
Let rest 5 minutes before serving

Notes

Use separate pan for sauce if oven-hot mixture is unsafe
Over-drying wings ensures crisp skin
Serve with blue cheese dressing or tartar sauce
For ham-free version, omit butter and use olive oil glaze
