1 large Italian sub miche
1/4 cup butter substitute (e.g., olive oil or margarine blended with herbs)
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 cup sliced turkey ham
1/2 cup beef pepperoni slices
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shaved provolone cheese
1/2 cup banana peppers, sliced
1/2 cup black olives
6 fresh basil leaves, optional


Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
Cut the Italian sub miche in half lengthwise
In a small bowl, mix butter substitute with garlic and onion powder
Evenly spread the herbed butter mix on both bread halves
Layer turkey ham and beef pepperoni slices on the bottom half
Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and provolone cheeses over the meats
Top with banana peppers and black olives
Finish with the remaining cheeses and basil leaves (if using)
Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes until golden and bubbly
