Ingredients
1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, melted
2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
4 large eggs, at room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time with continuous mixing.
Stir in vanilla, then add dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt) gradually.
Transfer batter to prepared pan and spread evenly.
