Description

Juicy beef cubes seared with a smoky herb butter blend for a quick, premium steak experience. Ready in 15 minutes, these bites deliver a bold flavor with a crispy crust and tender interior, perfect for a fast dinner or gourmet appetizer.


Ingredients

500g beef (ribeye or tenderloin), cut into 2 cm cubes
115g unsalted butter, softened
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste


Instructions

Heat a heavy cast-iron skillet over high heat until smoking. Add 1 tsp oil and sear beef cubes in batches for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
Meanwhile, combine butter, minced garlic, chopped herbs, smoked paprika, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
Reduce heat to medium, add the butter mixture to the skillet coaxing up a foam. Spoon butter over the beef for 30-60 seconds to baste.
Remove beef to a plate and let rest 2 minutes. Serve warm with extra herb butter on the side.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure doneness. For best results, sear cubes in one layer without overcrowding the pan.
Can substitute oregano for parsley if desired. Chives may be replaced with green onions if unavailable.
