Ingredients
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
240 ml (1 cup) heavy cream
240 ml (1 cup) chicken broth
8 cloves garlic (minced)
100 g (¾ cup) grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) or season chicken and sear in a pan until golden (optional for Maillard reaction)
Place chicken in crockpot
Mix cream, broth, garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme in a bowl; pour over chicken
Top with parmesan
Cook on low for 4-5 hours
In a saucepan, melt butter, add flour, and mix into crockpot sauce to thicken (serve sauce separately or pooled around chicken)
Notes
Sealing chicken enhances flavor development.
Use freshly grated parmesan for better melting.
Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread for a complete meal.
