Description

A quick, low-carb twist on traditional egg rolls using lean ground turkey, crisp cabbage, and savory Asian flavors. Packed with protein and aromatic spices, this bowl satisfies cravings without frying.

Ingredients

Scale

2 tablespoons olive oil
500g ground turkey
1 small sweet onion, diced
1 cup grated carrots
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 tablespoons tamari
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
4 cups shredded cabbage

Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and carrots; sauté 5 minutes.
Add ground turkey and cook until browned. Stir in garlic and ginger; cook 2 minutes.
Pour in tamari, rice vinegar, and chicken broth. Simmer 8-10 minutes until liquid reduces.
Stir in shredded cabbage and remaining 1 tablespoon oil. Cook 2-3 minutes until cabbage wilts.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

Use pre-shredded cabbage for convenience
Substitute chicken breast instead of turkey
