Description
A quick Asian fusion dish with savory ground beef, caramelized in a sweet soy-black bean glaze, served on linguine with aromatic garlic and ginger scents. Ready in 20 minutes with pantry staples.
Ingredients
450 g of lean ground beef (15% fat grind)
5 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 tablespoons grated ginger
2 tablespoons brown sugar (cassonade)
8 oz linguine
2 scallions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon sesame oil
300 ml chicken broth
Instructions
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned, 5-6 minutes
Remove excess fat from skillet, add garlic and ginger. Cook 1 minute until fragrant
Stir in soy sauce, hoisin, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Cook 30 seconds
Pour in chicken broth, bring to simmer
Add cooked, drained linguine. Toss to coat and heat through, 2-3 minutes
Serve with chopped scallions as garnish
