Description

Juciy beef patties topped with melted Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, and a non-alcoholic Worcestershire glaze. Served on butter-toasted brioche buns for a rich, umami-packed flavor profile.

Ingredients

Scale

500g ground beef (15-20% fat)
4 slices Swiss cheese
250g white mushrooms
1 yellow onion
4 brioche buns
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (non-alcoholic or soy-based alternative)
2 tbsp unsalted butter
Salt and black pepper (1/4 tsp each)

Instructions

Form beef into four 120g patties
Heat skillet over medium, cook patties 3-4 minutes per side until golden crust forms
Top with cheese and cover 2 minutes to melt
In separate skillet, sauté mushrooms and caramelized onions (10-12 mins) in butter
Toasted buns briefly
Assemble with patty, cheese, mushrooms and onions

Notes

Use fresh ground beef for maximum juiciness
Conventional Worcestershire may contain anchovies – use vegetarian version if preferred
For halal compliance, verify cheese is vegetarian-friendly and contains no animal rennet
Brioche buns can be substituted with sourdough or whole wheat
