Ingredients
2 pie crust disks
6 apples, peeled and sliced
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 egg, beaten for glaze
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
Place 1 pie crust in a shallow dish
Sprinkle 1 tbsp flour over crust
Arrange apple slices in a slightly overlapping pattern
Dust with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and remaining 1 tbsp flour
Squeeze lemon juice over filling
Place second crust on top, seal edges with fork
Brush surface with beaten egg
Cut slits in top crust
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden
